What is Iron Mimzy?

Iron Mimzy was born
from a place of care free expression, with a motivation to learn,
and a desire to be.

Simply, Iron Mimzy means not being afraid of one’s self and one’s full potential.

During her time in New York Francesca came across the Gyrotonic® method and began her training in 2008, she currently holds certifications in Gyrotonic®, Gyrokinesis® and other specialized equipment. Francesca's goal is to help with your bodies natural desire to move. She provides group, couples and individual sessions for beings of any age and ability, her aim is to inspire you to harness consciousness and awareness in the many facets of the body-mind connection to ease restriction, pain, tension and help in discovering a sensation of harmony from within.

Francesca Romo

Francesca was born in London and realized quite early on in life that movement is her source of pleasure and healing. She trained and graduated from the Royal Ballet School and the London Contemporary Dance School and danced for The Richard Alston Dance Company from 2002-2006. After a six week American tour she fell in love with the United States and moved to America in 2006 where she Co-founded Gallim Dance Company based in New York City.

Francesca also served as the Associate Director from 2007-2014. She has toured both nationally and Internationally and has set work on major Dance companies in Europe and America.

Francesca currently resides in Jackson Hole Wyoming where she a Rehearsal Director of Contemporary Dance Wyoming, and is involved as  a teacher, mentor and student at Dancers Workshop.

Her pursuit with healing extends beyond dance.
She is currently on a certification track in doing Visionary Craniosacral work®, studying with Hugh Milne at his Institute.
